“What are you doing falling in love all over the place?”
In January of 2015, we began a unique online experiment in which had people from all over Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore to pin the spot on Google maps, where they fell in love with a person.
Inspired by Becky Cooper’s ‘Mapping Manhattan’ project, the query was to have people think back to a place and see how they associate memories to geographical places and map memories. In another way it was like studying people’s emotions and studying the city itself and its alternate narratives, that are more than just living and working spaces. Connecting the intangible to tangibles, in the name of geography.
